Rachel Kemper joined Sain Engineering Associates, Inc in 2019 when she assumed the role of Resource Efficiency Manager, supporting the Army Reserve. Most recently in September 2023, Rachel has stepped into a new role as Federal Program Manager. With nearly two decades of expertise in the realm of energy efficiency and facility engineering, Rachel boasts a notable professional background.

Her career has seen her conducting detailed energy audits, shaping feasibility studies, and offering invaluable technical guidance and program support to enhance utility efficiency programs. Her skills extend beyond energy efficiency, having gained significant industrial experience as an ultra-pure water facility engineer.

Rachel attended the prestigious University of Minnesota where she earned her Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. She has earned several notable professional accreditations, including a Professional Engineering license in chemical engineering, Certified Energy Manager®, and recognition as a LEED Accredited Professional (AP).

Though her professional life is marked by dedication and expertise, Rachel is a native of Wisconsin and maintains strong ties to her home state. She resides there with her family, actively participating in her children's diverse activities, from volleyball and hockey to soccer games. Outside of these commitments, she finds joy in being active outdoors through running, hiking, and embarking on adventures to explore the diverse landscapes of the country.

Rachel's life and career are a testament to her commitment to excellence in engineering, as well as her enduring connection to her roots and the pursuit of balance between professional success and personal fulfillment.
