Brenda Phillips is the President of SEA. With more than 40 years of professional experience that combines the disciplines of architecture, program management, energy consulting and training, Brenda is an award winning licensed consultant with over $1.4 billion dollars of work in place.

As a previous owner of her own program management firm, Brenda understands the nuances of complex, multi-faceted programs and brings a unique perspective and background for delivering solutions to both federal and private industry customers.

As a leader for SEA, Brenda engrains herself into the daily aspects of the business to ensure integrity and operational excellence. She isn't afraid to dig deeply into the details to guarantee quality results for our clients, and she is passionate about the team and services they provide.

Brenda believes that Steve Sain's legacy and primary operating principles are critical pieces that make a business thrive. From serving her clients and fulfilling her people with integrity, to managing the business efficiently, Brenda believes that SEA has the best team for driving innovation and propelling client success through extraordinary service.

Originally from Texas, Brenda received her B.S. of Architecture Design Specialization from Texas Tech University. She is a licensed architect in the State of Alabama, and has served on the Board for the National Council of Architectural Registration. Brenda is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). She has also served on the Department of Energy's Federal Energy Management Program Planning Team for Energy Exchange, and has been a facilitator, moderator and instructor for various continuing education courses.

Brenda resides in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband Randy. She has two beautiful daughters, both attending Auburn University - despite bleeding red for the Crimson Tide.
