In 2014, SEA was contracted by Shelton State Community College on a two year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ) for energy consulting services including commissioning and energy assessments. SEA is currently entering the investigative phase of work. Information and knowledge gained during this phase will inform and enhance all subsequent consulting activities. SEA will conduct a Level I assessment of both the Martin and Fred Campuses. This initial energy walk-through will established the general energy savings potential and best value approach for the owner. The results of this assessment will provide the client:
• Trend evaluation
• Utility analysis
• A list of low cost/no cost efficiency opportunities
• Level I energy conservation measures
• Potential measures that will require further investigation
• Recommended next steps
We will also evaluate the two equipment vendor proposals (controls upgrade and chiller renewable) as part of this work.
