SEA was recently awarded a contract as a subcontractor to Northrop Grumman Corporation to provide Resource Efficiency Management (REM) services for the United States Air Force (USAF). The contract is active for up to three (3) years and includes multiple USAF sites worldwide. Northrop Grumman Corporation teamed with SEA and Tetra Tech, Inc. for the winning award. Air Force feedback after the contract competition indicated that the SEA team was rated highest for past performance. SEA has significanct experience providing USAF REM services. In addition, SEA is currently providing (or has in the recent past provided) both REM and other energy engineering services for several branches of the Department of Defense, at worldwide locations for the US Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard. The REM program is designed to identify opportunities for cost-effective energy and water conservation measures. SEA’s REM concept can be tailored for any client and is applicable in many other markets, such as for Municipalities, Universities, Schools, Hospitals, etc. SEA is customizing the REM model in other industries, such as airports, after being recently chosen to provide technical guidance for the Federal Aviation Association (FAA) Energy Efficiency Program.
