Energy Exchange 2020 – SEA is Going Virtual!

Sain Engineering Associates, Inc. (SEA) is excited to venture into the virtual world of Energy Exchange 2020. From hosting sessions to exhibiting in the virtual exhibit hall, SEA is excited to connect with all virtual attendees.

“If you haven’t had a chance to register for Energy Exchange, you should,” said President and COO, Brenda Phillips of SEA. “As a member of the planning team, I can assure you we have worked very hard to bring you incredibly valuable training sessions throughout the week.” You can register for Energy Exchange by going to https://www.energy-exchange.com/registration-virtual/.

“These are certainly unprecedented times. In all my years of attending and participating in Energy Exchange, it never really crossed my mind that the conference would be virtual rather than meeting in person one day,” claimed Brenda. But that day is here, and the show must go on! SEA has been working very hard to have a strong presence at the event slated for August 10th – 14th.

“We wanted to take this opportunity to make sure we are able to still connect with our clients and peers in the Energy Industry,” said Todd Billings, SEA Executive Director. “Our team has worked very hard to put together valuable training content, including videos from our team to engage virtual attendees and still give them a personal connection.”

One of the things SEA is doing throughout the event is hosting various themes throughout the chat window to encourage engagement and collaboration from the virtual booth. Additionally, SEA leaders Brenda Phillips, Todd Billings and Michael Reed will be hosting opportunities to collaborate and discuss topics in Zoom rooms throughout the event. Steve Sain will also be available through Zoom to catch up with old friends.

Our virtual booth also provides access to a large amount of brochures, project profiles and videos in the Content Library. Going virtual has actually allowed SEA the opportunity to showcase even more of our excellent work compared to providing paper copies in person. “We still want the conference to be fun, so we are also hosting a Trivia tournament throughout the week and leaders of the game will win some impressive prizes – from Yeti goodies to Apple gear,” said Todd.

In addition to participating in the exhibit hall, SEA will be offering several sessions throughout the conference. On Monday, August 10th, a session will be released that is moderated by Brenda titled, “Advancing Auditing and Commissioning to Achieve Resilient, Efficient and Secure Installations and Campuses.” Joining her will be SEA team members, Jason Brooks, Director of Engineering and Amanda Renjifo Camp Lejeune’s Energy Manager. Additionally, Olwen Huxley of the FBI will round out the panel offering her expertise in commissioning.

“The best way to keep up with all of these opportunities is to follow SEA on LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter,” says SEA Marketing Analyst Brooklyn White. “We continue to add items daily to our schedule and following the channels will give you the ability to know what is going on throughout the week as we continue to add opportunities to engage with SEA associates.”
SEA is proud to be invested in Energy Exchange 2020, and looks forward to the opportunity to connect with the registrants throughout the event.
