Resource Efficiency Managers - REM

Sain Engineering Associates, Inc. (SEA) is seeking proven energy management professionals to work full-time on-site for multi-building federal campuses as "Resource Efficiency Managers" (REM).  We currently have several positions available in  Oklahoma, Ohio, Florida, Texas, Colorado, California, Washington DC,  the United Kingdom and Germany.

What You'll Do

You'll facilitate the energy management program for one or more Federal campuses (such as a military base) which spend about $5-20 million annually for energy. Your primary focus areas will be: energy project funding attainment, supply-side cost reduction, energy awareness promotion, O&M efficiency enhancement, and retrofit project management. Your position will annually fund itself from energy savings achievement. This concept makes good sense, is exciting and growing rapidly.

What You Need

Qualification requirements are: U.S. citizenship, at least 5 years direct experience in energy management of existing facilities, demonstrated ability to achieve substantial energy efficiency improvements autonomously, and preferably hold an engineering degree (BSME/EE or similar engineering degree). Qualifications considered to be extra valuable are: energy management experience involving federal (especially military) facilities, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification, Professional Engineering (PE) license, and/or a graduate degree in business.

Freedom and fulfillment. You'll interact daily with our key client(s). You'll have significant technical support from our highly-qualified team. And you'll have supervision only as needed. One of our REMs simultaneously facilitates three extremely assertive multi-million dollar energy savings performance contracts. Another of our REMs negotiates multi-million dollar energy procurement contracts. And another travels the entire Pacific coast (including Alaska and Hawaii) in search of multi-million dollar energy conservation opportunities.
